Cheap accommodations near the Rome Termini station

Termini railway station is the main hub of Rome, including tracks for local, regional, national and international trains (traditional and high-speed trains). All around the station there is a great variety of accommodations, from small family-managed b&b, inns, guesthouses, pensions, hotels from 1 to 5 stars hotels. Shops, supermarkets and every services required can be find inside the station.

Rome Termini is the central point of the transport network of the eternal city, with subway stations, buses and trains to/from Fiumicino and Ciampino airport, bus stops, tramways, taxis.
Police is very present all around the zone and the place is mostly safe: just take care not to be pickpocketed!

Rome Termini is one of the largest train station in Euorpe, with 29 platforms and more than 150 million passengers each year.

Termini station is also the central place for public transport in Rome city. Current Rome subway Metro lines A and B intersects here. A large bus station is placed at Piazza Cinquecento, right in front of Termini station.

It is enough to get away 200 or 300 meters away from the station to get into calm residential neighborhoods, but if you prefer completely peaceful places, it would be better you choose to lodge in a well connected location away from Termini, like San Giovanni, Re di Roma, Piramide, Vatican, Prati, Coliseum.
