Ciampino Airport of Rome

The second airport in the eternal city, is located 15 chilometers away from Rome, in the small town of Ciampino. Trains runs every 15 minutes from the Ciampino's train station to the Rome Termini station, but the Ciampino station is not within the airport. For this reason, it is strongly recommended to take the shuttle bus  directly from the airport to the city center.

Ciampino is just outside of Rome, in the eastern side of the city, and in the vicinity of the towns called Castelli Romani. Ciampino is an international airport, mainly for low-cost companies. Flights from / to Europe and the Mediterranean only, no intercontinental flights lands here.
