Budget Hotels in Rome: doing the right choice!

Rome has a wide choice of one and two star budget hotels, both in central Rome than inner zones, near the main railway station Rome Termini and in many other central and less central places in Rome. Behind to these categories, is well you know that pensioni are similar to one star hotels. Albergo is a sinonymus of hotel, so one star albergo would be also a good option. Nevertheless, is well you look for travellers comments on the tripadvisor before making the final choice.

You would hardly find a budget hotel in the old town (Spanish steps, Navona square, Campo de Fiori, Popolo square), but this does not means there are not budget accommodations there at all.

Would your cheap accommodation be located very close to a metro station (Line A or Line B), you should seriously consider not to miss to complete the reservation, does not matter if it is in the suburban Rome. Ciampino can be also a good choice, as there are trains running all day and until late night every 15 minutes (duration to Rome Termini: 15 minutes).
