The main airport of Rome is located 20 kilometers away from the city center, near the beach. Frequent trains links the airport to the central city every day and night (from 5 to 23), but it is better you get informed before you arrive in order not to find undesired surprises.

The airport services intercontinental flights, it has all the side-services for travellers, but, fortunately, it is not exactly an enourmus airport, so you will hardly get lost. Inside the airport there are parking buildings, and an small train station that links with the city center. One of the railways travels directly to the Rome Termini, and the ticket is around 11 EUR. The another one is a regional train that crosses Rome by a side, and it can be useful for experienced travellers not afraid to get lost in Rome, not exactly the most ordered city in Europe.
