Most of them are not close to the metro stations, but you will hardly need to take it, as everything is close and you may walk around to discover the treasures of Rome.

Near the railways stations there are lots of budget B&B's. Please read carefully comments on the Tripadvisor and the information provided in the reservation system portal. Bed and Breakfasts near the main railway station Roma Termini, and near to the Tiburtina Station, are not always suitable for families with children or old people. They are highly reccommended for experienced travellers who doesn't get afraid about the hassle around the stations. Would you come from an small town in the quite mountains, and it is your first time in a big city, it would be better not to stay near the station. Nevertheless, usually italians knows has to be make you feel at your own town.
